It seems there could be some news on Yunus Musah’s future soon. The AC Milan midfielder could be sold this summer with Napoli interested.

There has been an appreciation for Musah in Naples for almost a year now. Since arriving, Antonio Conte has looked to see if a move was possible and it seems he could try again in the next few weeks, after an earlier attempt this summer.

Last summer, it was the will of Milan to keep him. This summer, it was a case of finances and other players. Now, though, it could unlock.

New ideas

The Neapolitan branch of La Repubblica states that this much could come true, as MilanPress relays. After a mercato meeting between Aurelio De Laurentiis, Antonio Conte and Giovanni Manna, the name of Musah was brought up again.

With it, so did the possibility of making a new bid, which would see him become their seventh signing of the summer mercato so far. Previously, the move failed due to the situation with Anguissa. However, Conte believes the two can co-exist.

In this plan, Musah would be the ‘perfect backup’ for the midfielder, and could offer him some solidity when rotating. It is unlikely that a price change occurs, but, new talks could begin.

    1. I’m a Musah fan on the US nat’l team but he needs a change of scenery. He’s young (22) and hopefully his decision-making will get better. He’s a good box to box midfielder but has had far too many giveaways under pressure in dangerous places. I was hoping that there’d be some overlap with Modric who is known as a mentor to younger players.

  1. 25 mil to use to raise the bids for Jashari to 40 mil and Doue to 30 mil and get those soap operas off the table would be ideal…

We are 17 days away from Bari and 24 days away from Cremonese. Its time to get Allegri the players so he have 2-3 weeks to work with them.

  2. 20m and he can go. Dont be stupid and sell him less then estupinan, musah yunger and better so dont accept nothing then 20m. Also this guy play with disaster coaches and his quality is better then we see. Dont make same mistake like you do with kalulu

  3. Musah is a headless chicken. He has great stamina but no football brains. If Napoli or epl club is willing to pay 20-25m it’s no brainer to sell him. I would give both Adli a chance. I don’t get why Adli is being shown the door. He works hard, is creative and is a reliable rotation player.

    1. adli cant defend. hes an amf. we already have rlc and puli if we use an amf. not to mention modric. in his old clubs they used him as an lwf or rwf too, sadly hes too slow eventhough technically hes one of the best in our squad

  4. Both Musah and Adli can go. Why are we even comparing two departing players…? None of them is gonna stay so it does not matter who is the better one. These are quality players and will do well somewhere else but here at Milan.
