GdS: Napoli midfielder emerges as Milan alternative to De Ketelaere

By Euan Burns -

Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has emerged as a possible alternative target to Charles De Ketelaere for AC Milan, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are beginning to look more seriously at other targets as it is proving difficult to reach a deal with Club Brugge for the transfer of De Ketelaere.

One name that is now being linked is Napoli’s Polish midfielder Zielinski. He has a technical profile that Milan really appreciate but there has not been any contact with Napoli so far about a move.

West Ham United asked for information about the player earlier in the summer and they were told he would cost €40 million. That could be a fee that Milan need to drop before a move can happen given they are not willing to pay €35 million for De Ketelaere.

Other options include Hakim Ziyech, Marco Asensio, Nicolo Zaniolo and Domenico Berardi.

  1. 40 mil. is a Theatre! But to be honest,Zielinski is very good player, and Idea to hire him at AC is not a new one.Unfortunately never made,he would fit 4-2-3-1 perfectly!

  2. The fact that Adli who plays in a tougher league and also 21 came for 10m and this CDK dude who plays for a lower league and not even the player in his team but is thought to be worth 35m is ridiculous and stupid……

Why the hell is Milan wasting all their time in this guy? Adli and Diaz already in for AMF, we have no good RW, DM, LB backup and time is running out and we are here wasting time on a overpriced and overhyped club brugge player…..this stupid. ….this management never stops to amaze me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    1. Mate he performed in the UCL many top teams yet Adli hasn’t played against any top teams besides PSG in Ligue 1, yes you can use the argument that Adli had relegation level teammates but don’t disrespect CDK. Secondly they’re different players. CDK can play more attacking while Adli is more of a box to box sometimes attacking. CDK did extremely well racking up nearly 30 goal contributions (G+A) in one season so please go watch a match of him and then say he’s overpriced. The only reason we got Adli for so little is because Bordeaux are in a financial nightmare and that’s why if I recall well they’ve been relegated to the 3rd tier of French football while Brugge is a top team compared to Bordeaux with no financial struggles and De Ketelaere has a longer contract

  3. I believe since CDK preferred Milan over others, club Brugge want to use the mean and make more money. they should sell to LEED. Am not so hype of new players because they are probability either shine or flop.

  4. This is a new story again
We have not achieved any significant signing since the league finished long time ago and we have less than a month for the new league season to start
We are always like this each season and other clubs are busy doing real business. Bayern Barcelona Roma inter Man city have all purchased great reinforcements to their team while we continue bargaining a player like we are buying pepper in the mall
Football is all about money and how do u make the money if not to invest in good players who will take u to champions league and move far because that’s where the buck is coming from
Dybala alone can bring much money to Milan through his shirt selling all over the world but we didn’t think about that and allowed him go
Milan is not known for this type of transfer in the good Era
The guy from club Brugge is willing to come and has shown his desire to come even the Chelsea player too all these guys have been waiting for us but we are still very stingy with our slow motion movements
We lost a great player from South America to Man city a month ago after we discovered the player but was very slow like snail
We have to invest in buying good players and money will come
Honestly reading Milan transfer news is annoying
