Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is convinced that he will be fit enough to face AC Milan in the Champions League after missing the Serie A fixture between the two sides, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Nigerian striker was disappointed not to be able to help his team against Milan in the league on Sunday but that may not be the case in a week’s time.
Milan and Napoli are facing each other twice more this season as they have been tied together in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The first leg is on April 12 and Osimhen has every confidence that he will be back from his muscle strain in time.
Giovanni Simeone started in his place in Serie A but he was not able to make a serious impact. Milan won the game 4-0 against all the odds with two goals from Rafael Leao.
