Gianluca Di Marzio believes that Napoli will make Massimiliano Allegri their number one managerial target but are likely to be disappointed.
Di Marzio spoke in the podcast ‘Caffè Di Marzio’ on TMW about the future of Serie A’s top clubs, who will be called upon to make very important decisions in the coming days before the transfer window actually begins.

“In Italy we’re currently discussing CEOs and perhaps coaches more than players, whether Furlani will stay at Milan, whether Comolli will stay at Juve, who will be Napoli’s sporting director, where Tony D’Amico will go, etc.,” he began.
“Abroad, however, they’re already working on the player market, confirming how in our country, planning and continuity of work is expressly tied to immediate results and conditioned by the objectives achieved.
“In short, it’s true that there are clubs like Napoli that need to figure out who will replace Conte. They’ll have to figure out whether Sarri will really prefer Atalanta, as it seems these days, and then Napoli will go for Allegri.
“Allegri should stay at Milan, so Napoli would go for Italiano. However, Bologna needs to release him, and then look at all the twists and turns.”
Allegri on his future
During his pre-match press conference on the eve of the game against Cagliari, Allegri was asked about whether finishing in the Champions League spots is crucial for his future with the Rossoneri.
“As for the future, I think the future is tomorrow. It’s the most important match for everyone. For everyone at Milanello, at Casa Milan, and for the fans. Tomorrow will be a full stadium.
“A win should be a sign of thanks to them, who have been there for us all year, even in difficult times. It’ll be a tough 100 minutes, with a lot of pressure. But we need to stay calm.”
Earlier in the week, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Gerry Cardinale has decided to continue with the former Juventus boss and will satisfy the demands he has to bolster the squad.

No Allegri to Napoli why Vincenzo Italiano to Milan
You can be the coach of Milan 🤣
Shut your mouth.
With Italiano we’d play 4-3-3. Of course, the key to Bologna’s recent success is their recruitment.
