Nazione: Milan most interested in Chiesa – meeting with Fiorentina could happen soon

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are the club most seriously interested in a move for Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa, according to a report.

After initially being linked with Chiesa a few weeks ago, speculation has once again intensified over the past few days suggesting that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara could try to land the Italy international.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) went big on Tuesday by reporting that Milan have put forward an offer to Fiorentina for Chiesa, consisting of Lucas Paqueta (valued at €20-25m) plus €20m cash and another €10m bonuses.

According to Thursday’s edition of La Nazione (via MilanNews), Milan seem to be the club most willing to come forward and actually make a move for Chiesa as head coach Stefano Pioli is such a big fan of the player.

Viola directors Daniele Pradè and Joe Barone have been in Milan since Wednesday, and it cannot be ruled out that they meet with the Milan management to talk about the winger.
