Latest NBA Europe developments
The Athletic, via MilanPress, wrote that Mark Tatum, the NBA’s deputy commissioner, George Aivazoglou, the NBA’s Senior VP for Europe and the Middle East, and Adam Silver – who is responsible for external affairs – were present at the European Football Clubs annual conference on Tuesday.
Of course, this was seen as a fantastic opportunity to meet with representatives of the clubs who are believed to be taking part in the NBA Europe project, with negotiations ‘moving forward’ now.

Cardinale’s interest in the project has been clear from the off, so it makes complete sense why he was also in attendance alongside CEO Massimo Calvelli and CFO Stefano Cocirio, as MilanNews reported.
Whether the American will stop in Italy on his way back from the trip is currently unknown. However, his continued presence in Europe this year is something that will only benefit the club’s appearance in these settings.
