There have been fresh talks between Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan over the possible transfer of Malick Thiaw, a report claims.
It was a strange season for Thiaw, one in which he never spent long stretches as a regular starter and found himself fourth in the pecking order after the switch to a three-man defence under Sergio Conceicao.
As a result, there has been a lot of speculation that he could depart before the start of 2025-26, in order to go somewhere with a great role and perhaps a European competition to play in.
Leverkusen in for Thiaw
According to MilanNews, there is a lot going on at Casa Milan on the exit front at present. There are several negotiation tables open with various foreign clubs and one of these concerns Thiaw, who has another couple of years left on his contract.

The former Schalke 04 player is in the sights of Bayer Leverkusen, who just lost Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich on a free transfer, their captain and the leader of the defensive department.
Thiaw is viewed as a possible replacement and in the last few hours there have been new contacts between Leverkusen and Thiaw’s camp. The move would be a welcome one for the German international, while the Rossoneri should accept €20-25m.
Brighton signing Coppola for 10 millions + bonuses. And I was called delusional for calling to close the deal when mercato just opened.
Guess what, Chivu of Parma is now Inter coach and guess who they’ll go after? Leoni. And we’ll stay empty handed scratching our heads because we were playing cheap and lowball. Remember this comment when you decide to call me hindsight again.
I hadn’t seen that coach move but unless Inter actually want to rejuvenate their squad with homegrown players from the youth ranks it seems like a bit of a scetchy move to me considering he has only coached senior football since mid February but nevertheless has coached Inters youth teams for some years beforehand. With a 23% wining percentage for Parma it should be interesting to follow but you might be right that he will try to bring Leoni with him.
No one is going to remember the dog crap you post. The owners clearly aren’t cheap, as a higher net spend than Inter, Liverpool and Newcastle over the past 2 seasons shows. As for your low ball fantasy, I’m sure you were one of the Ted’s moaning during the Gimenez and Fofana discussions. The only confirmed target Milan missed out on due to money was Zirkzee.
The owners aren’t cheap hahaha
Factually correct.
2024-2025
Milan €121m in, €51.30m out
Inter €76.15m in, €14.24m out
Liverpool €42m in, €47m out
Newcastle €68.2m in, €89.55m out
2023-2024t
Milan €126.88m in, €71.27m out
Inter €72.5m in, €127.03m out
Liverpool €172m in, €60.7m out
Newcastle €148.1 in, €44.6m out
2023-2025
Net Spend (€m)
Milan €125.31
Liverpool €106.3
Newcastle €82.15
Inter €7.38
What’s your next lame argument? They only spend €20-30 million on players? Go and look at the average player cost of all Serie A clubs and come back. Only Juve and Napoli have the finances to make those type of signings.
Don’t be a Ted. Don’t continually repeat lies. It makes you look dishonest, it means you’re not credible and shows you to be a repugnant human being because your online persona is a reflection of your offline persona.

125 millions in 3 seasons is just over 40 millions a season Mr. Teacher. Exactly what I’ve told you they are spending. What you’re doing is not even lying, it’s not understanding simple basics yet you continue to push on. Don’t let that stop you. Just remember, helmet on you handmade imbec*l.
Ok it is not Ibra, he can’t add up numbers like this. You just proved other clubs are manager way better. Good job! You thought you are proving a point you made but not even close. 🤣🤣
*managed. Inter playing 2Cl finals and winning titles with 7M net spend in 3 years is magic. Milan can’t be close with almost x20.
But what I do remember is you saying “they cannot spend because they only booked 5 million profit”. That kind of dog cr*p will never be forgotten. How f*cking dumb a person must be to come out with that.
1. You’re not in a position to tell me anything.
2. “they cannot spend because they only booked 5 million profit”.
I said nor implied anything of the sort. What I said was the fact that they only turned a profit of €5 million shows that they were at the limits of their spending, and learn how to use quote marks you dolt. Quote marks are used for DIRECT quotations, not for paraphrasing, which isn’t the case here either because you deliberately misinterpret what I said to push your false agenda.
3. “125 millions in 3 seasons is just over 40 millions a season”
Rumbled. As expected, you’re a toxic fan from the third world. Million is already in plural form. It’s 125 million and 40 million. Also that’s irrelevant in every way because, as I showed, the same is true of other big clubs. Inter, Liverpool and Newcastle fans don’t accuse their owners of being cheap because their fans aren’t Teds.
Ok sorry, I did not know that grammar has everything to do with your lack of any kind of knowledge whatsoever. A sorry and cringy way of defending your lack of intelligence and being a complete tard. There’s another commenter pointing out your stup*dity and how wrong you are and it still won’t stop you from making a complete mockery out of yourself. Props to you and your persistence.
Me a third worlder, lmao I’m from EU, a country with fastest growing HDI in EU, top three safest in Europe, top 10 cleanest and greenest in the world. We’re a f*cking El Dorado compared to your septic hole of UK. Folks beware, this is what growing up on canned beans does to you.
No, it is really simple. They don’t accuse their owners because those clubs are managed way better than Milan. You even proved it. If Liverpool was 8th you’d hear a lot of Liverpool not spending enough and so on. Only here you can see a guy being a cheerleader for people that the club from Scudetto to 8th place in 3 season. Ubremoron

The comments of another Ted don’t held your position. Your arguments are false, they are factually incorrect. You’re from an EU country? That makes the fact that you lack critical thinking skills and jump on conspiracy theories even worse. You’re an embarassment to your country.
Is that you Ibra?
Do you not get the concept of a name?
Of course they don’t complain about their owners anymore. Both Arsenal and Liverpool’s owners have been in charge for 14 years. It took Liverpool 9 years to win a league title under their current ownership. Arsenal still haven’t won the league under their current ownership.
“If Liverpool was 8th you’d hear a lot of Liverpool not spending enough and so on.”
No, they wouldn’t because they’re not liars. They have spent, as have Arsenal, as we have. That you think a lack of spending is the reason for finishing 8th shows that you have no understanding of football. Man United spent far more than we have, to finish 15th. The fans don’t complain about how much money their owners have spent, they complain about HOW it was spent.
“Only here you can see a guy being a cheerleader for people that the club from Scudetto to 8th place in 3 season.”
Who is cheerleading or defending the owners? The owners are incompetent, as everyone states, but that’s to be expected given their lack of experience. Saying they’re cheap is a flat out lie. Claiming they’re cheap either shows you’re not aware of the spending, even though it’s well known that there has been heavy investment, or you ignore the facts to push your agenda because that’s the type of garbage you are.
Ok halfwit, I am pushing an agenda. 🤣🤣🤣 Title title, you are 1 dimensional. I am OBVIOUSLY not talking about winning since that is part luck, but being competitive every season. You keep writing the most idi*tic excuse ever. They don’t have experience? Who? Cardinale? He isn’t doing anything at the club. When you buy a club you hire people with experience, or you should. Your idea is that Milan fans should say, oh, they don’t have experience, fair play. And that is perfectly fine for an ubermo*on, I get it. Enjoy!
And all the comments when you said Reijnders is “average” 👌
Sure, as a midfielder he’s nothing special. Apart from goals, he was non existent in the middle. Was he misued? Probably yes, I’m sure he would come better playing as a left mezzala with additional coverage next to him but that was not the case here.
I’m starting to worry that we will sell Maignan, Théo, Leão and Thiaw, not renew to Liberali while keeping Royal, Loftus-cheek, Musah and Chukwueze.
I get that our “superstars” were far from good, but we should be getting rid of the deadwood first.
Who’s going to buy them?
Many midtable or low level teams can acquire them, we just have to accept that we won’t make as much money from selling them as we would have wished.
Why would they want to go there? Which low league team is going to pay RLC or Royal’s salary, both amongst our top earners?
Didn’t Royal almost go to Turkey during this winter until Conceição decided it was a good idea to start him ?
Not according to anyone involved.
It’s very hard for clubs like Milan to offload such deadwood. Players like this (Loftus, Chukuwedze) are already at top club, with good salary, with no intention to leave.
IF they would be open to “downgrade” and go to mid-table team, they expect to be treated as superstars there and have big salary. There is no point for mid-table teams to hire such guys and give them special treatment, when they are just average.
Add Pobega, Adli, Tericciano, Bartesaghi, Colombo and maybe Bennacer to that list of deadwood. But it seems we are getting rid of our best players instead. I’d like to see Milan keep Thiaw, but seems he is keen to move.
I believe Tare and Allegri want immediate champion league football that’s why they focus on mixing few young players and experienced players.
Secondly, to get clear Maldini loyalist, because ever since Maldini was sack, his boys change from psychological perspective which affect us on pitch and on market.
The language can be well analyzed from our transfer market, it very clear.
Sell him and buy some young Italian in his place. There would be hardly any downgrade in quality, and would be easier with registration.
Lets sell all the deadwood players and leave our stars to stay: like who want a deadwood player in their club?
For those logwood to be sold, they needed to be given few minutes so they can prove to their worth to their potential buyers like jovic did at the end of the seaon
