AC Milan will soon elect three new members of the new Hall of Fame presented by Emirates, and fans can get involved in the voting.
There was already a Hall of Fame for those who have left a mark on Milan’s history, but as part of the 125th anniversary celebrations, a new one was created. The first inductee became Franco Baresi – an ‘Honorary Member’ appointed in his 50th year with the club – and he was joined by three others.

Filippo Inzaghi, Andriy Shevchenko and Marco van Basten also became part of the Hall of Fame, each selected by fans. In the coming weeks, the spotlight will turn to the greatest midfielders who have worn the Rossoneri colours, embodying the Club’s values both on and off the pitch.
A total of 30 candidates will compete for the three available places in the Class of 2026, starting Thursday 12 March. The selection process will be led by the fans, who will be able to cast their vote on the AC Milan platform and enter a draw for the chance to win a signed shirt.
We have learned some of the names among the 30 eligible for the Hall of Fame: Clarence Seedorf, Carlo Ancelotti, Frank Rijkaard, Ricardo Kakà, Ruud Gullit, Andrea Pirlo, Dejan Savicevic, Massimo Ambrosini, Gennaro Gattuso and Marcel Desailly.
Over the first two weeks of voting, the initial list will gradually be reduced to eight finalists, from which the three new members will be selected. The winners will be honoured during Milan vs. Juventus and presented with a trophy.
Franco Baresi, Honorary Vice President of AC Milan: “With this initiative we do not only want to celebrate our Club’s past but also inspire future generations of Milan fans to write new chapters in our history.
“The list of candidates for the Class of 2026 includes players who represented Milan in different eras but who all share a very strong Rossoneri identity. It will be a source of great pride for me to welcome into the Hall of Fame the legends chosen by our fans.”

This is the biggest headache for any Milanisti worth his salt. Just too many great players to choose from. Good luck to those voters who can do this and still sleep peacefully at night. We have fond memories right from the beginning of the Berlusconi era maybe up to 2012 before things started tapering off…we are spoilt for choices. Forza Milan
All of them should be inducted, it shouldn’t be a question of choosing between those guys. They’ve already written their names in our history books.
It’s a tough list for older Milan fans, not so for the younger generation
Extremely tough! Since it has to be three at the moment, I’d vote for Rijkaard, Pirlo and Kaka. Leaving the rest of them out is almost impossible though. Desailly and Ambrosini, while great players, and with the latter being an academy graduate and such a great servant to the club, are perhaps the ones I would exclude.
This is a very hard situation…Lots of great names are here but any how, I believe Ricardo Kaka will make it.
