TMW: Newcastle, Sevilla, Juventus and Lazio want Romagnoli – Milan’s latest offer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli is attracting interest from four different cubs with his contract set to expire in June, a report claims.

According to TMW, Milan made an offer to their captain to extend his contract at €3m net per season and though the request was only €500k per year higher than that amount, no agreement has been found in the meantime.

That is why the possibility of an exit at the end of the season remains high and Lazio are keen on signing Romagnoli, who is a boyhood fan of the club, but a meeting to discuss a deal has been postponed. Only when it eventually takes place will the Biancoceleste reveal what their true offer is.

There are a number of other clubs who are keen on the 27-year-old including rivals Juventus, LaLiga high-flyers Sevilla and the Saudi-backed Newcastle United, all of whom have ‘expressed interest in recent weeks’.
