Debuts, loans, interviews and the return to action: Four bits of news on the AC Milan Women

As we are currently in the weird phase between Christmas and the resumption of football, we have compiled a few bits of news about the AC Milan Women.

➤ Striker Anita Coda has returned to Milan after her loan spell with Lady Granata Cittadella. The striker will join the Rossonere for the remainder of the season.

➤ Vero Boquete recently did an interview with Marca where she reaffirmed her commitment to AC Milan. She also spoke of meeting Paolo Maldini, and praised Milan’s ‘professionalism’ and commitment to their women’s team. Vero recently did an interview with SempreMilan as well, and you can read it here.

➤ Milan’s newest signing, Guðný Árnadóttir, recently played her first game for Napoli. The defender is currently on loan to the team from AC Milan, and she’s there to gain more minutes an experience in Serie A. Árnadóttir played as a left centre-back for 95 minutes in their 2-1 loss to Hellas Verona. The Icelandic player will make her debut for the Rossonere next season.

➤ The AC Milan Women are currently enjoying the winter break. They’ll return back to training on December 28th, in preparation for the upcoming Supercoppa Femminile. The tournament begins on January 6th, and they will take on Fiorentina for the rights to play in the final.
