AC Milan have tabled a ‘record-breaking’ offer for Ardon Jashari, according to a report from Belgium, but Club Brugge are not in a rush to give the green light for the transfer.
Jashari has been linked with a move to San Siro for many weeks now, and Milan have been in advanced talks with Club Brugge in that period. However, the clubs are yet to reach an agreement on the valuation. Even the improved offer yesterday might not move the needle.

The player has been making it clear that he wants the move for quite some time, even calling Brugge after the latest offer, but there’s a real risk that his dream might not come true. And that is despite Milan tabling a hefty offer.
‘Record-breaking’ figures on the line
According to the Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad (via MilanNews), Milan presented the following offer to Club Brugge yesterday: €33.5m fixed base, €2m in easy bonuses and an additional €2.5m in tough bonuses for a grand total of €38m.
The easy bonuses, furthermore, will be triggered as long as the Rossoneri qualify for the Champions League ONCE in the next five years. In other words, these bonuses will almost certainly be triggered, taking the ‘guaranteed’ part up to €35m.
The newspaper adds that based on the current offer, we are talking about a ‘record-breaking’ transfer for Belgian football. One would have to assume that this includes the bonuses, as Charles De Ketelaere cost €36.5m without bonuses and €37.5m with bonuses.

Main problem is that Milan is turning the player against Brugge. Milan did it with CDK and now doing it with Jashari. This nasty tactic is not welcomed by any team.

Brugge got irritated when Milan lit up CDK for the transfer then kept haggling about the fee. It’s copy & paste now with Jashari, except the kid is even more lit up about the transfer it seems. Add to that all this time Milan spent low-balling them when the price was always 35+5…
You can see why Brugge is irritated. I think it’s a good offer by Milan but had they skipped the BS and offered closer to this from the start, I bet we’d be done and dusted.

A big club is interested in a player from a lesser club or league all the time. Players get excited and want the transfer to happen.
There is always haggling around a fee during any transfer. Very rarely one club says 40 and the other just say OK.
But how was Brugge burned? They got exactly what they asked for CDK.
They can be irritated as much as they want but to say that they were burned with the CDK transfer and they don’t want to be burned again is nonsense. They got a record fee back then and now they want another record fee. Any club will take that kind of “burn”.

It is hard to explain to some people. This is common sense, but not so common it seems.
Spot on. Club Brugge is protecting their pride and ego while hoping Jashari will eventually give in and move to the EPL. Milan lost a lot of time on this deal but that is about it. It has got other stuff done in the mean time. Tare did not just sit on his hands and wait for this one deal to materialize. I say we move on from Club Brugge and Jashari, and stay away from this club for the foreseeable future.
Jashari said it before negotiations even began that playing in the San siro was a dream come true and that he’s a fan of milan. Did milan take advantage of that? Sure, but jashari has done it all on his own

Everything revolves around a million or 2, which is small for a big club. Milan has not been a big team for a long time and that’s where the problem lies. That this player has talent and will become a top player, and you dropped him for 1-2 million, is tantamount to disaster. On the other hand, it can be average and you lose money on it, which would not be the first time (Pjatek, Paqueta, CDK). To find out what Jashari would be like in Milan, he costs 1-2 million and it’s frustrating.
AC Milan should get Jashsri,he is a Millan fan.
Adding that he is good at pressing and Marking on balls the same with Ricci which will help Modric allot in the middle field.
In an ideal world, we would be making a purchase (or at least have an agreement in place) before selling our first team player (Tijj).
Brugge is right not to be pressurized into selling, and it is well within their right to ask whatever they want for their asset. We also have our rights not to pay to their demand, but this game of chicken of increasing bid 1m by 1m (for example) is really, really ridiculous. We should have said, thank you, we respect your position and moved on. We might not get the ideal player that we want, but we leave with our integrity intact, and the next time another club wanna do business with us, they will respect us.
