Romano: Nkunku to cost ‘in excess’ of €30m as Milan and Chelsea talks are ‘well advanced’

For the third time in the past seven days, AC Milan are reportedly in an advanced situation with a striker; this time with Chelsea.

There is something about the Milan mercato that is baffling some; there is little similarity between targets, and the consistency of this is certainly confusing. Then, there is the lack of finishing, ironic considering it is regarding a striker.

Victor Boniface and Conrad Harder have both come close to wearing the famous Rossoneri colours. Yet, neither time has it got it over the line, so again, the club are back to square one, and will look at another idea in the mercato.

Nkunku ‘advanced’

This morning, it seems the idea is Christopher Nkunku, with a potential loan deal for Artem Dovbyk also in the works, and Fabrizio Romano has reported the situation with Chelsea over a deal for the Frenchman.

“Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan, deal progressing as personal terms are not an issue. Nkunku wants AC Milan, and talks over contract are well advanced.

“Chelsea and AC Milan are discussing about transfer fee surely in excess of the reported €30m.”

Time is running out, and the Diavolo need to get things done quickly.

    1. To get these level of players without champions league and a salary cap is some achievement.

Vlahovic, Rabiot and Akanji to go and then market close (come on……could happen)

  1. That’s way too much. How can you have awesome Pulisic for 20 & failed Nkunku for 30? What a dumb way of spending resources.

  2. Crazy expensive for an injury prone replacement for Chukwueze.

I hope all these rumours are smokescreen for the real deal, whatever the real deal might be.

Personally I dream that ACM highjack Kolo Muani from Juventus, and I emphasize dream.

    1. If you think he is a replacement of Chuku than you have never seen him playing.
Nkunku is a striker, a n9. It is not a classic n9, but still a n9. He scored 60 goals in 2 seasons at Liepzig. Chuku will probably not score 60 goals in his whole career.

  3. FRENCH AND can play “MULTIPLE POSITIONS” NOT A STRIKER WHICH WE NEED AND COLOR ALSO FITS A CERTAIN SCOUT’S FETISH. I Wonder who recommended this signing?????

  4. If this is real, then it doesn’t make sense at all. The price, age, injury journal and where is he supposed to play?
