Earlier today, AC Milan finalised a deal for Christopher Nkunku, but he has yet to complete the officialities of the deal.
It has been a long summer, but Milan may finally have a forward through the door. Victor Boniface and Conrad Harder both seemed close before, so there may be some hangover fears. Nevertheless, the Frenchman will undergo the tests tomorrow.

Nkunku arrives
For now, though, we can only focus on what we see, and that is that he has landed at Milan Linate airport, ready to sign a contract after medical tests tomorrow.

On paper… and based on the hope he can hit even a quarter of the form he showed at Leipzig, I think this can be a very very good signing for us.
At one point this guy had the world at his feet and we would’ve been happy he we gotten him at the backend of his Leipzig performances. I just hope he isn’t too damaged by the Chelsea spell. In terms of quality. He is a waaay better than Ok4 and Chuck… him, Leao and Pulisic makes me dream. I hope it works out!

Pulisic came from Chelsea and I’m sure they celebrated then too….but he is one of Milan’s best players.
Yeah puli was kinda flopped too at chelsea. But so was origi at liverpool he’s good
Pulisic was around 24 when he came to us. He was a wonderkid in Dortmund. Excellent form for 3 seasons there. Also performed well at his early season(s) at Chelsea. He’s also a key player in his national team. And on top of it all, we got him for 20 ish mil.
Nkunku? 27 and costed us around 35-40ish mil. Yes, he had, great couple of seasons in Bundesliga. But that’s it. Never been a key player in his national team too.
So yes, the concern of most of us here is logical. The risk in this operation is just too damn high. Moreover, he’s not the kind of player we really need.
Pulisic a wonderkid but this dude is player of the season and was a top scorer not just a wonderkid and you said that “thats it” ?
Yes but it was much way cheaper. We got 2 – RLC + Pulisic for Nkunku money. Risking 20M or 40, big difference. This guy has to deliver or Milan is losing money 100%. Pulisic even if he failed could be sold for 15M easy.
I don’t think he solves our striker problem but he gives us a some depth with Leao & Puli. Our forward depth is way better now than with Chuk & Okafor. Play Nkunku as a false 9 and we’re better than we were last week.
He will work better in a 352 system as 2nd striker with Gimenez. Or alone as a false striker aided by Leao and Puli. Gives us options so not a bad idea if he stays fit.
Nkunku is highly welcomed. Though he is not the point man we are expecting therefore there’s still room for VLAHOVIC IN FRONT AND GIMENEZ AND NKUNKU WILL BE SHARING TIME AND PITCH.
