AC Milan have been dealt a bit of a setback today, with news about three players who could start Friday’s game against Pisa.
This weekend’s game showed the extent of the injury issues at Milan. Whilst there are no long-term absences, there are several knocks to contend with, and the squad for the Fiorentina game had to dig deep to get three points.

Now, it can be viewed as a positive, as it shows the guts within the squad to get results in circumstances that are far from ideal. However, there are certainly issues to contend with, and the Rossoneri need recoveries soon.
Three doubts
As MilanNews write, though, they may not arrive as quickly as may be needed. It starts with Pervis Estupinan, who is undergoing therapy for his ankle injury, which occurred during the international break.
Then, Christopher Nkunku and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who would have hopefully trained with the group, were forced to miss out. Both underwent personal training, rather than rejoining the group, which certainly brings a bit of doubt about their involvement later this week.
There is still time to recover, but with the game taking place on Friday, there is not much time to ensure they are ready.

Not good. I am also concerned they are down playing Pulisic’s injury. Leao was supposed to be a few weeks and it was closer to 2 months. I would be surprised if Pulisic plays again in 2025. We missed his attacking creativity on Sunday. Glad Leao scored 2 goals he had a good second half.
Don’t mean to dampen anything, but all 3 of these players had long injury histories before we bought them, and now? They’re all injured.
RLC will never finish a season without picking various knocks along the way. His body has deteriorated due to the many years he’s suffered.
Nkunku and Pervis, not the best injury records as well.
Let’s see what happens
