AC Milan took a punt on Christopher Nkunku in the summer, and so far, it has not been a profitable one. However, he hopes to turn around his fate.
When Nkunku joined Milan, he did not join without questions. In fact, more people were confused about the move than actually backed the decision. With the requests for a physical striker, signing a technical second striker seemed odd, and it still does.

So far, his time with the Rossoneri has only extended these doubts. A brace against Verona may be a chance to build something moving forwards. However, it does not seem like he will be the man whom Massimiliano Allegri looks to for change.
Nkunku says no
As a result of his poor first months at the club, there were suggestions that he could leave the club this month, and Fenerbahce have been in the pursuit of his signature. In the past few days, it has gotten more unlikely, and now it seems that it is off.
Calciomercato.com writes that the Frenchman is not convinced on the move, just because of Domenico Tedesco’s presence and he wants to remain at Milanello. This decision has also been made with a ‘strong sense of revenge’ in mind; he does not want to take a step back and believes things can get better with the Diavolo.
An expected decision, but one that now requires action. If not, the case will only be revisited in the summer.
Revenge against whom??? Is the press again trying to stir controversy where there is none? Nkunku has been given numerous opportunities and support. There’s nothing to be revengeful about.

LOL. Nothing shady about being a flop no one wanted in the first place. Allegri never asked for the guy and had no idea how to use him. Turned out he is basically unusable if we want to compete for trophies.
As much as Nkunku has disappointed us so far it would be more worrying if these rumors are true. Why does Milan give up on its players so easily? Why spend 40M if you know in the back of your mind you’re willing to give up on him and take a loss at the first sign of trouble? I hear Furlani was against the signing but why did he not veto it before it was finalized? Everything about this signing was odd. At the point own the player, give him time and hopefully he will repay your patience. It’s not like Milan won’t need depth even if it’s an ill fitting piece for next season. Maybe a year with Allegri will be the ticket. I know that is a highly optimistic take but it’s not like it’s uncommon for a player to suck their first year following a transfer only to thrive down the line (cough cough Tonali)

Because another article pointed out that Tare was actually unimpressed by this signing, meaning that only Furlani could have made it happen.
Yeah that was i read before, nkunku came to milan thanks to furlani “close relation” with chelsea… Too close maybe so he feel so glad to take a useless player….

Both players has been praised by both media and fans so yeah you are very selective in your criticism. Besides of that I’ve previously discussed with Newcastle fans on this website that he probably would stay there for the forseeable future so yeah you are basically nitpicking,
Thiaw has not only been praised by fans, but pundits as well. He suits the EPL as it’s more physical and less tactical.
Tonali is one of the best midfielders in the league. The idea that Juve could pay the €70-80 million Newcastle will want for him is absurd.

I agree and if Tonali ever returns to Serie A I think he will also prioritize a move back to AC Milan if possible but I don’t see it happening earlier than a year before his contract expires or maybe first when it runs out. He has also shown willingness before to cut his salary for the club so the biggest hurdle for now is his valuation as I percieve things.
