Christopher Nkunku reportedly did not want to take a step backwards by leaving AC Milan this month. However, it seems his head may be turned.
The past few weeks have been rather up and down where Nkunku has been concerned. He has been on the list of players to go, and then he scored a brace against Hellas Verona. Despite that, though, it appeared he was still available.
In recent days, things have been heading more towards him staying at Milan, powered by a feeling of ‘revenge’, hoping to prove that he was worth the fee which was paid for him in the summer.

Now, things may not be so clear. As La Repubblica, via MilanNews, reports, the Frenchman may actually consider leaving, with Fenerbahce still insisting on a move for him this month, and salary figures have been revealed.
It appears that the Turkish club could offer him €7 million per season, which is €2m more than what he earns in Milano. Right now, he is only tempted by the salary, it seems.
For the Rossoneri, he will not be allowed to leave, unless they get the €38m, which they paid in the summer, back for his departure.

Take 30 and send him away
I dont mind him fighting for his place if he believes it. Plus if we get Vlahovic next season may switch to 433 and there’ll be plenty of chances for him to get minutes as a forward without having to be the no.9 (vlahovic and gimenez for example would be our options there)
But if he cares about money predominantly (and cant blame if its a big pay rise) then sure, sell him but force moneybags Fener to pay the transfer fee. Don’t haggle with us but give Nkunku 40% salary increase.
He can’t be trusted to stay fit, let alone score. Take the loss and learn the lesson – stop signing EPL trash.
He has dived enough wearing the Rossoneri shirt already. No one is entertained by his “work”, so… Adios! Don’t let the door hit you. Or let. I don’t care. Just go.
