AC Milan were back at Milanello earlier today following the disappointing 0-0 draw against Empoli. With the important Napoli clash coming up, the Rossoneri will not get any days off for Easter celebrations.
Stefano Pioli’s men failed to build on the 4-0 trashing of Napoli last night as they were held to a 0-0 draw against Empoli. Now, however, they will have to recharge their batteries and shift focus to the Partenopei once again.
As stated on the official website, the team had a training session this morning for those that didn’t play much yesterday. The starters worked in the gym and tomorrow, there will be a session in the morning. The same can be said for Monday.
The first leg is scheduled for Wednesday and the return leg will take place on Tuesday the week after. After the 4-0 trashing last time out, Milan have a slight psychological advantage but their inconsistency is also a bit worrying.
