No Milan or Man Utd move for €30m winger: “I declare him officially non-transferable”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and other interested clubs have been dealt a huge blow in their hopes of signing Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga this summer.

Boga has been in fantastic form for the Neroverdi since his arrival from Chelsea and in this season in particular, amassing 11 goals and four assists including a brace in last Sunday’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Hellas Verona.

It has been claimed by multiple media outlets that Milan have concrete interest in Boga, and the player himself invited possible suitors to make a bid by confirming he is ‘open to new adventures’.

ESPN FC and StrettyNews have both recently claimed that Manchester United are tracking the 23-year old attacker, as per sources close to the player.

However, both clubs – as well as Napoli – have been dealt a huge blow by Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali, who spoke to il Corriere dello Sport about the future of the Franco-Ivorian.

“We want to keep the big players, it’s our desire for the next season. How much is Boga worth? A problem that I don’t ask myself, because we don’t want to sell. I declare him officially non-transferable,” he said (via MilanLive).

Calciomercato.com recently reports that Sassuolo’s intention is to keep him into next season despite the player’s will to leave, adding that €30m may not be enough to convince the Neroverdi to sell.
