Vinicius Jr. has become the latest to wax lyrical about AC Milan star and Real Madrid legend Luka Modric, revealing an anecdote that proves his point.
Modric arrived at Milan in the summer window on a free transfer, ticking off something that was no doubt on his career bucket list as a boyhood fan of the club. His impact so far has been huge, as seen on Friday night with his winning goal against Pisa.
Talk of a potential renewal is already in the air, but the midfielder will have the final say. Someone who knows Modric better than most is Vinícius Júnior, given that they played together at Real Madrid for seven seasons.

Vinicius spoke on Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos’ YouTube channel and he shed some light on what Modric is like as a character, with his comments relayed by MilanPress.

The world “unbearable” there is likely to be a translation mistake. I doubt that Vini Jr used this world. He probably said something that would rather be translated as “unbelievable.”
“Unbearable” would mean that Vini couldn’t stand interacting with Modric when they won, meaning that Modric would become annoying. That’s exactly the opposite of what Vini was saying about his illustrious teammate which was a long stream of praise, so this is likely a translation error, which is a common occurrence here at SempreMilan; the writers seem to have a limited command of the English language and they periodically make these translation mistakes, or use wrong words like a recent article that four times used the word “less” when the correct word would have been “fewer”.
