On Tuesday, Massimiliano Allegri and his AC Milan squad resumed training with Sunday’s match against Sassuolo on their minds.
In yesterday’s session, the first of the week given the Monday off granted by the manager, the team reviewed the 0-0 draw with Juventus. As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanPress) report, the team and staff wanted to dissect the positives and negatives from the stalemate.

The players then carried out an athletic and technical training session in front of the sporting director Igli Tare. A morning session is scheduled for today (Wednesday 29 May), while tactical preparations for the trip to Sassuolo will begin tomorrow.
Even in the match at the Mapei Stadium, the coach should use the 3-5-2 again. However, he will be forced to make at least one change compared to Juventus: one of either Ardon Jashari or Samuele Ricci will start in place of Luka Modric.
The Croatian had his season ended early after suffering a fractured cheekbone in a head-on-head collision with Manuel Locatelli which required surgery. He will be out for six to eight weeks, with the focus now being on preparing for the World Cup.
We’ll know more about the rest of the choices that Allegri should make in the next few days, but he must find a formula to try and get the attack going again.
