Norwegian journalist claims Milan ‘have been following Hauge since June’; player prefers Rossoneri

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan continue working on the transfer market and are looking to strengthen the squad at Stefano Pioli’s disposal. One of the players that could arrive in the coming day’s is Bodo/Glimt’s Jens Petter Hauge, who impressed in the Europa League showdown against the Rossoneri at the San Siro.

The 20-year-old attacker scored a fantastic goal and added an assist in a fantastic display against Pioli’s team, which caught the attention of the Rossoneri. Yesterday we were the first to exclusively report Milan’s interest in the player and the will to make an attempt for Hauge in the coming days.

Afterwards, we were joined by other sources in Italy, including Sky Italia‘s Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio, with the latter saying that Milan would like to finalize the deal for Hauge in the next 48 hours.

And today confirmations have arrived from Norway as well. According to journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft on Twitter, Milan’s negotiations for Hauge are not love at first sight, as the Rossoneri have been following the player since June.

Fjortoft also added that the player has three other options besides Milan, but he ‘seems to prefer’ the Rossoneri.
