Not only Rabiot as Athekame and Fofana could also miss derby against Inter

Adrien Rabiot is one yellow card away from suspension, which inevitably has become a big talking point as the derby is around the corner, but the same goes for two more players.

Rabiot missed Milan-Como due to suspension, having received a double yellow against Pisa in the round before. Had he not received the second card, then he would have served a one-game ban due to the yellow card accumulation.

Now, however, he’s one yellow away from another suspension. As the derby against Inter is just around the corner (Parma and Cremonese first), Milan will need to manage his situation. The same goes for two more players.

Duo need to be careful

Indeed, Zachary Athehame and Youssouf Fofana are also just one card away from suspension. With Alexis Saelemaekers now fit again, it’s unlikely that the Swiss international will start in the derby anyway, but it’s always good to have options off the bench.

Fofana, meanwhile, will probably start if he’s at Massimiliano Allegri’s disposal. That leaves two options for the Frenchman: either take a yellow card tomorrow, thus missing the Cremonese game, or sit out the Cremonese game. Anything else would be quite risky and, frankly, stupid.

The latest reports suggest that none of them will start against Parma, but perhaps they will get the chance off the bench to grab their yellow cards.

  1. These idiots will get yellows during Cremonese and miss the derby. Meanwhile, Bastoni forced a yellow to miss Genoa and be available for the derby.

  2. Wow that crystal ball of yours must come in useful…What is it telling you about the score for the Milan v Parma game? Thanks!

  3. I don’t think we can base our existence around just the Inter game. Others will disagree but I’d rather beat Parma and Cremonese and lose to Inter than draw those three games.

Try everything to win the next one, then worry about the one after IMO.

    1. Exactly!
Even though I hate losing to those snakes, if we do not take maximum points in the next two games, the result in the derby will not matter.
Except maybe merda as well shlt the bed themselves.
