GdS: Nottingham Forest and West Ham could push Milan to use Jashari funds elsewhere

AC Milan are in danger of letting their main summer target pass them by, and others will be ready to pounce on the opportunity.

Despite Matteo Moretto stating that the deal was not off this morning, there is a very real chance that Milan will not land Jashari this summer, and it could stretch beyond that. Other interest is present, and whilst the Rossoneri have been at the table, there has been no alternative for Jashari. That could change, though.

If his dream club are forced to leave the equation, he may go elsewhere, and there are plenty of suitors.

English options

This morning, Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) wrote that a stalemate is in place, and none of the parties want to move just yet. However, other movements are occurring. Brugge have already begun to speak to Premier League clubs about the situation; Nottingham Forest and West Ham have seemed to bite.

An auction is hoped for, with both English clubs capable of getting involved at the price. Though it is not in the Diavolo’s interest to take part in these proceedings. Their final offer is there, waiting for Jashari.

Wasted weeks

So, who else for Milan, then? At the start of the summer, Javi Guerra’s name was floated around as an option. However, things have gone quiet for the Spaniard recently. For what it is worth, he was offered a new contract recently, but turned it down, perhaps hoping for the Rossoneri’s involvement once again.

Alternatively, with six midfielders already in the squad, it is not impossible that Allegri opts to keep his team as it is.

  1. TBH is Musah isnt getting sold (we havent even been able to sell Bennacer and Adli yet), just keep the 6 midfielders we have and use the Jashari money for Doue and Vlahovic or Nunez (since Tare/Allegri seem to favour them).

A RB and CF is much more important then a 7th midfielder.

    1. Actually they can F do it bc they almost gor it. But their ego of feeding and lowballing other club are bigger than the club it self. Why tf they wait for 2M til end of preseason for the cost UCL spot. Get Cardinale s*n and Foolani the F outta here.

    2. Bad idea. Midfield is absolutely critical for any push for the top four and a title push. None of those players are good enough, and Bennacer and Adli are locked out.

With that said, Jashari isn’t worth the price mentioned and we ought to move for Guerra instead. A capable midfielder is absolutely more critical than a CF or RB.

  2. You borring with article about this guy.Even he ever come here i will not like him because you make drama about him. If he like Milan how he talk let see next season what will happened.
I realy dont like see him at club now

  3. Let him go to England I don’t think Milan should be made to wait for him personally, I watched his vids on YouTube he is good I like how comfortable he looks on the ball but he doesn’t do anything insanely well, I feel there other options that maybe cheaper

      1. Agreed he is big too I think he would be a better addition especially if he is going to be cheaper, he has experience im a tougher league too.

    1. He could be our new Reijnders. A player who is comfortable on the ball is always needed in the midfield. Someone who can bring the ball out in tight situations.

  4. If the main target isn’t there, I’d say hold the money for now – with Modric, RLC, Ricci, Fofana, Musah, Bondo and Bennacer, Max should be able to make something work with that, even if we’re lacking a real ‘break into the box and make the decisive pass’ combination.

    1. I don’t think even a miracle maker could make anything with that midfield. Fofana, Musah, Bondo… Are not quality. Bennacer is broken and gone.

  5. Guerra. Close the deal and move on. We can’t waste anymore time. Some may say we have six or seven midfielders. Not quality ones. We need a real quality one.

The midfield is critical to doing well. More important than any other part of the team because that’s the heart of the team. From covering defense to linking up attacks.

Use your brain, folks. RLC, Musah, Bondo…not it.

    1. I think they should have hired you instead. Allegri has no idea who is a good player or not, hope he calls you soon.

  6. Hold bro.. if EPL money getting in, prepare Milan. Club Brugge wants to sold Jashari with minimum 50m. I suggested Milan should move on to other realistic target.

  7. We have actual positions of need and enough mids for a one competition season. What we don’t currently have is a RB or an alternative to our striker. We also need to sort out the CB position.

There are plenty of headaches to resolve. Pivot away from Jashari and focus. Salivating at the window over a toy you can’t afford isn’t getting us anywhere except for another “NO”.

    1. CB is sorted dude. Unless one of the current ones departs, nobody is coming in, and at this point there seem to be no offers for any of them. The closest we got was Como for Thiaw. So that department is as you were probably until 2026. And for the Leoni bandwagon, we’re not spending 40M on Leoni. Sorry.

  8. So let him then. He’s never worth 40mil, if he wants to go fight relegation with west ham let him. Brugge are just butthurt nobody wants to overpay for him after 1 decent season
