AC Milan are closely watching the development of Fenerbahce midfielder İsmail Yüksek, according to a report from Turkey.
According to NTV Spor (via TMW), Milan have their eyes on two Fenerbahce players and one of them is full-back Ferdi Kadioglu, who is also attracting interest from Napoli and is valued at around €20m currently.
The Turkish source let it be known that Milan are not only following Kadioglu in view of next summer but also İsmail Yüksek, who is also 24 years of age and has become a mainstay in the team for the Istanbul club.
Yüksek has been playing predominantly as a defensive midfield, which is a position Milan might look to strengthen in, especially if Fenerbahce were to come back in for Rade Krunic with an offer they couldn’t refuse.
However, he has also played further forward as a box-to-box midfielder and even as a playmaker, with two goals and three assists in 47 appearances for Fener. He has played 10 times for Turkey too, scoring once.
If they want a backup for theo that is still young and with potential they should scout Galatasarays 20 year old left back Kazımcan Karataş. He plays both defensively and offensively aggresively and i believe he could be a good understudy for theo and propably wont cost too much either.
I am beginning think that they’re looking for a replacement, not a backup.
