The ball is in AC Milan’s court as they have learned the asking price they must pay to sign Jesus Corona from Porto, a report claims.
According to the Portuguese newspaper O Jogo (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri do indeed have a concrete interest in signing Corona from Porti, but they will have to raise their offer in order to convince the Portuguese side to sell such a crucial player.
The Primeira Liga club would only be willing to accept an offer of €15m as they would have to pay 30% of the amount to Twente as per a percentage resale clause agreed at the time of his move, meaning Porto would only pocket around €10-11m.
Now the ball goes to Milan who will have to evaluate the next move and whether to increase their current bid. Stefano Pioli, meanwhile, is waiting to see how his attack will look after August 31.
