AC Milan’s transfer market is heating up, at least based on today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, but they still need to move beyond the planning phase.
Yesterday, it was revealed that Ruben Amorim had added Christopher Nkunku to the list of departing players, along with some expected names. With just two weeks remaining of the mercato, however, many have asked why these decisions weren’t made earlier.

In addition to the sales, Milan also need to make some reinforcements, so there really isn’t a lot of time to work with here. Gerry Cardinale and his team must be super efficient to get everything, or at least almost everything, over the line.
Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport dedicated a part of the front page to the Rossoneri’s situation, and there was also a big spread inside the paper. Clearly, this is far from ideal as the season starts in just over one week.

Disappointed with Amorin & Cardinale. Amorin had time to decide, now left it too late. Nkunku woll either stay or be sold for a quick /cheap price. Cardinale.. well we had no management (exc Amorin) for 2 months so are behing the other clubs. I have hope that we will avoid relegation. 😭
