Offer ready as Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid circle for €60m Milan star – report

Alessio Romagnoli is attracting the interest of several top sides in Europe, a report claims, with talks over a new deal not yet underway.

Spanish outlet DonBalon (via Calciomercato.it), LaLiga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are keen on landing Romagnoli this summer, as Los Blancos are looking to reinforce their rearguard ahead of next season.

Nonetheless, the report also mentions that Paris Saint-Germain and some English clubs are also keen on the 25-year-old, in particular Liverpool who have ‘taken concrete steps’ to formulate an offer worth €60million.

Klopp considers the Italy international as the ideal partner for Virgil van Dijk, after the failed bid to sign Kalidou Koulibaly of Napoli.

The negotiation between Milan and Romagnoli’s agent Mino Raiola has not yet taken off, the report adds, meaning that the summer window could be the right time to try and tempt both the player and the Rossoneri hierarchy with a big bid.
