AC Milan and PUMA have announced the long-term extension of their existing contract together meaning they will continue as the Technical Supplier.
A statement on the official website confirms that the deal has been extended having first been established in 2018 when the German manufacturer took over from Adidas. As part of the extension PUMA will become the official naming partner of Milan’s core in Vismara Centre.
The newly named ‘PUMA House of Football’ will become a home for performance development that will see investment in the next generation of youth players at Milan, and will help support the continued growth of women’s football.
Interestingly, the statement mentions that the new agreement foresees PUMA developing performance and off-pitch lifestyle products that ‘tap into the unique Milanese style’ meaning there will be new collaborative projects. As imagined, nothing is mentioned about the terms of the deal though it is reported to be worth more than the previous one in terms of yearly fee.
