The wait is over, the saga has concluded and the good news has finally arrived: Ardon Jashari is a new AC Milan player.
A soap opera that dragged on for over two months has now ended, and in the best possible way for Milan. On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano gave the ‘here we go’ stamp on what will be a €39m operation between Milan and Brugge.

The Swiss midfielder landed in Italy later that night and underwent his medical on Wednesday morning/afternoon, then signing a long-term contract with Milan.
Jashari to AC Milan: Official at last
A statement on the official website reads: “AC Milan announces the permanent signing of footballer Ardon Jashari from Club Brugge. The Swiss midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2030.”
Jashari will join Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci to form part of a new-look midfield, a department that needed rebuilding after the big-money sale of Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City.
The former Luzern starlet had his first training session on Wednesday afternoon and should be part of the squad that travels for the friendlies against Leeds United and Chelsea – in Dublin and London, respectively – over the weekend.

Background
Born in Cham, Switzerland, on 30 July 2002, Ardon began his footballing journey with Luzern, making his first-team debut with the club in July 2020.
He went on to rack up 102 appearances and nine goals in his time with Die Leuchten. In the Summer of 2024, he moved to Club Brugge, where he made 52 appearances and scored four goals, winning the Belgian Cup.
Jashari has four caps for Switzerland, making his debut in September 2022. The club also confirm that Jashari will wear the number 30.

About time as this saga has been dragging on for far too long so great that it finally materializes to something concrete.
A huge welcome to the kid and hope he will be a great success for many years to come.
Glad to see this done so all the non sayers can be quiet now. Milan has spent the most money of all teams so I don’t want to hear anyone complain.
That is actually not correct Napoli, Atalanta and Juventus has spend more not that I’m disgruntled about the incoming players we have gotten yet.
Even Como has spend more than us it seems 😀
Most Italian clubs has actually spend a decent amount of cash this summer.
Do they? They can’t even get Morata.
Milan has kept a balanced sheet even with five new signings, including an overhaul of our midfield.
Como has spend 104 mil euros yet while Milan has spend 76 mil euros so yeah they can. Morata is also close to join them by the way. Anyways this wasn’t meant as a complaint but just stating mere facts.
Como spent that on exactly what? They haven’t signed anyone of quality.
Well you can have a look for yourself but whether they are good or not is a another matter of discussion even though I personally do like the Baturina transfer.
https://www.transfermarkt.com/serie-a/transfers/wettbewerb/IT1/plus/?saison_id=2025&s_w=s&leihe=3&intern=0&intern=1
My link ended up in the moderating queue but instead go and look up “transfermarkt 2025 26 serie a transfers” and you can see for yourself.
Personally I quite like the Baturina transfer whom I’ve suggested here previously.
Their signings remind me of mass quantity signings. Won’t surprise me if they end up mid table or towards the bottom.
Also Milan actually have made more in sales this summer. So we spent even less for more quality.
Quality is always debatable but I just posted mere facts as SMH said Milan was the team that had spend the most in the league which clearly isn’t the case. Anyways I’m happy about the incoming transfers.
I personally think Como will improve on last season and potentially will become contenders for Conference league or Europa League unless they start selling off their marquee players before the Mercato door shuts.
Milan in €79 million, out €109 million. Net spend -€30 million
Atalanta in €80 million, out €104 million. Net spend: -€24 million
Inter in €41 million, out €56 million. Net spend -€15 million
Juventus in €119 million, out €63 million. Net spend €56 million
Como in €90 million, out €14 million. Net spend €76 million
That is how to run a football club. Improve the squad, get rid of the trash, keep the books in order.
I’m not saying the opposite or for that sake what’s good or bad i just made it clear that Milan isn’t the club who has spend the most in Serie A and I even complimented the incoming players by saying that “I’m happy about the incoming transfers”.
Who cares?
They’ve also signed an entirely new midfield for the third season in a row.
And in the classic 3 players for 1 position/department move we can expect at least one of the new signings to fall.
My bet is on this guy from Belgium given the struggles of the previous guy from Belgium.
Modric has enough experience if he can avoid injuries.
Ricci knows the league.
Then there’s this guy that most people (outside of those who play computer games or Belgians) hadn’t heard of until a few months ago.
I could of course be wrong because it’s all a bit of dice roll.
At least they’ve got Allegri but he’s also on his second stints and second stints rarely work out.
So if I was a betting man I’d probably bet for another rebuild next summer.
And then they can spend even more money!
How good will that be?
Lmao you probably want to keep Musah. Modric is a fit player. But is 40, bud. Jashari is a great player. He doesn’t have the pressure of an attacking player.
We seen basically the same thing happening for over 20 years now so you’ll forgive my scepticism.
Somebody at some point thought Musah and the rest were great. Not just ‘somebody’, many of the same people now making the decision to sign another 3 midfielders.
There’s a good chance Musah didn’t work out for the same reasons these others won’t. He too was signed at the same time as three others.
This has been almost a constant theme over the last 20 years (since the club (and clubs generally) went from signing around 3 players each summer to 10+).
Milan in particular regularly sign multiple players for the same position or department in one transfer window.
Usually Milan sign at least 2 new strikers every single season, and then we are all bold over when one or both fail to perform.
This has to be a form of madness (certainly there’s no learning from history).
you must be suffering from total dementia.
Players come and go, and for you… you put players above the team. You’re still stuck on players long gone.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. Your complaints and crybaby antics on here are well known and epic. You’re just back here again whining once again.
Also Milan hasn’t signed a striker. They signed three new midfielders to overhaul midfield as many of us have suggested. Open your eyes, squirt.
Best RB of all time Eternal Captain Calabria still without a club…
You have shown not to be a good judge of talent, Mr. “I don’t see what Reijnders brings” and “Calabria is the best RB we’ve had – how dare they force him out?” 😂
what a bum! it’s not who spent the most money it’s how to spend ur money. bum americans who own Milan go to Chelsea to buy us average bums like pulisic to sell his shirts in the Mickey Mouse land, defenders like pablovic who can’t mark, can’t actually play football, right backs as Emerson Royal, a stricker like the Mexican dude who is 6 months ago they are looking to buy another stricker because they found out he is as useless as that Chelsea bench warmer pulisic is laughable! Why don’t u bum americans take ur Chelsea bench warmer along with ur management and get da f out of our club for good
Good. Next Jon Aramburu, Athekame, Leoni and Tolu Arokodare or Hojlund 😆😆. And we talk for scudetto next year. With Jon Aramburu our defence will be the strongest in the league no doubt. Fantastic right defender.
While I admire Hojlund, Allegri stated that he is looking for a “target man” and the identikit listed seems to geer towards Vlahovic than any other striker we are linked with since Lucca joined Napoli.
I do think Vlahovic will turn out good for us though.
I am fine with Vlahovic, but his salary is a huge question mark. Would have wanted Boniface, but the signing will be costly
Vlahovic would be just fine.
Adaptation period for Boniface would be another factor to consider.
I would pick Vlahovic over Boniface for many reasons, and I think his salary would be sorted out by a pay cut.
I have a feeling that after Athekame, the fullback/wingback market will be closed. Since it seems likely that we’ll be using 3-5-2, my guess is that Jimenez and Saelemaekers will rotate with Estupiñan and Athekame, with the reduced defensiveness of the former two being ameliorated by have three CBs.
Now attacking and defensive department, and then 2nd stars is ours
Well come to ac milan jashari I’m happy we got great midfielder
Avgvri, Ardon, welcome on board!!!
And it seems that we have signed this guy also:
“CALCIOMERCATO – Rossoneri scatenati in queste ore sul mercato. Dopo Jashari Tare ha chiuso anche il terzino destro svizzero dello Young Boys Zachary Athekame. Il giocatore è atteso a Milano già nella giornata del 6 agosto. Operazione da circa 9 milioni di euro.”
Yeah heard that’s done. I wonder if they will sign Jon Amarburu too or if one RB is enough.
Well, so far it’s Ricci / Modric / Estupiñán / Terracciano / Jashari / Athekame (waiting official confirmation).
A good market, I guess. Let’s who we’ll sign for the attack dept.
Ah last year Fofana,Royal,Gimenez,Pavlovic,Rijnders,Morata… and we 8 place. I think this year we have worst players so realy dont know what you celebrate with those new players 🤷♂️
These players we have incoming are upgrades. So no.
Allegri is the determining factor here.
But rarely (if ever?) have second stints worked out.
Can anyone point to an example of a successful second stint for a manager or player?
Allegri isn’t a player. You are clueless.
No he’s the manager i.e. the single most important person at the club.
Did you see the difference Conte made at Napoli?
From 10th to 1st.
Now do you have an answer to my actual question – can you name a single example of a manager or playing succeeding in a second stint?
You think Calabria, who is unattached and may face early retirement, is the best RB we have ever had.
Your judgment is foul and off. In fact you have ZERO credibility. Run along.
ancelotti at madrid
Ibrahimovic at Milan
fabregas at Barza
Aragones at Atletico
Rocco at Milan
Pulisic at Milan !
I hope he’s not stressed because of all of this. But I can imagine. He should take a few days off to the beach or something to unwind.
Glad to see him join!
Hope to see more of his body checks like the one he did on Reijnders. Welcome kid, all the best and looking forward to see your grinta on the pitch.
Welcome!! I hope you will be worth that money.
Welcome Jashari….. we pray you adapt to Serie A early and also integrate with the Milan Team.

Let’s see Gerry’s boys out in full force.
Hello lad, where’s your uncle, Krunic?
Wow this guy only played 1 year in Belgium and won player of the season. Im excited to see what he can do!
Glad this is finally over and hoping this will be a great transfer. According to the reports, Allegri is keen on keeping Musah. So if Bondo leaves, that means Modric, Ricci, Jashari, RLC, Fofana, and Musah for our three midfield spots. On paper that is quite a midfield. But I’m starting to worry about Pulisic. If Allegri uses a 3-5-2, I think he will be the one to suffer, which is bananas given how important he’s been the last two seasons. I’m skeptical that we’d use a 3-4-1-2 to accommodate him, as that would mean benching one of the big 3 central midfielders that we just signed (Modric, Jashari, Ricci), and four out of six total.
I think Allegri will switch between 433 and 352.
433 to dominate weaker teams and 352 to play it safe and compact on counter against stronger teams if necessary.
Hello lad, where’s your uncle, Krunic?
Next good buy of our tag team .. he wants to play for milan. Thats what we need… Sempre milan…bleeding for our club when you play for ac… 😉 forza rossoneri…
After samuele and modric next smart buy
Yes fratellis bright future…the second star is near…
What player does he remind you guys of?
Does Ardon have similar qualities to some other famous footballer you know that we could compare him to?
What I could see, he is left footed and has defensive duties which he handles well, but is also good attacking and has good passes.
To me he looked like a mix of dybala and bennacer. But a bit stronger then bennacer maybe because he is a bit taller, and of course he is not the level of dybala!
Is he a Tchouaméni or a left footed calahanoglu type of player? What is he 😄
Is there a reason signing three midfielders at the same time is a good idea?
Lmao did you see how we did last season, bud? Modric might stay a season or two at most. We needed an overhaul. And Rejinders left.
Last season the club hired two coaches who had never won anything in Italy, and who (along with the management) alienated the club captain and all other senior members of the team.
Everyone on here was then simply bold over that this had a negative affect on the performance of the team, and have, as usual, reverted to writing off all of the players that they were celebrating less than 12 months ago.
It’s exhausting and obnoxious, and a significant reason for the club’s fall from grace.
This is called dementia.
You think Calabria was the best player in Milan. He was part of the problem. Now nobody wants him. I bet you want Calabria back because you have some weird fantasies about the past.
What’s obnoxious and exhausting is you.
I think the logic is that Modric is unlikely to play 90 minutes every week and needs some cover, but he’s here in a player-coach role so we might as well sign the players we want to learn with him and play alongside him.
Probably Tare and Allegri are cynical about Fofana’s ability and RLC’s ability to stay fit too.
CDK #2 has arrived
Nah. He’s more balanced and experienced player than CDK.
100% better ready than cdk…more like samuele ricci, ready from the beginning
Only 3 goals + 4 assists from Belgium league. He’s not yet to compared with tijjani. My question, are we overpaying him ??
He’s not to be compared to Tijjani. Like at all. He’s a different type of player.
Nope. This season is another history. Just be positive…give this lads a chance. Couldnt be worse than last season. Im a believer. With allegri and mordric and the rest of our team, i think we are ready for the scudetto and the second star…think positive bro…dont give negative vibes.. 😉
Good lord. Finally 🤦♂️
Anyways welcome bro! You’ll need all the luck because that price tag and the whole drama around the transfer, one can safely say all eyes definitely on you. Unless by some miraculous reason we sign a top 5 player.
I still think we’ve vastly overpaid by quite some margin on a player with one decent season at Brugge. To me he looks like a 10 (from vidoes), so here’s to hoping we see some trequart ball…yea that’s not gonna happen as we have Allergic. Fun times ahead. Stats-wise…..lemme not say more …
Jep, we should never do business again with brugge…😁✌🏾
Look at napoli.. 😀 they lost against stade brest. Defense looks like swiss cheese at the moment… 😉
When our players keep that pace and i think they will get better soon, we will be next year in cl for sure…the future looks at the moment bright for us…♥️🖤
Lets see how they play against chelsea on sunday…✌🏾
