AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao has named his starting line-up for the game against Atalanta, and he has stuck with a three-man defence.
Given the gap to fourth place, it remains a very difficult task for Milan to get a European spot in the league. However, there is still the obligation to finish the campaign well, especially with the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg next Wednesday.

In terms of injury news ahead of tonight’s game at San Siro, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is still out after undergoing appendix surgery, while Kyle Walker could be back against Inter. Emerson Royal remains out as well, with his return date yet to be decided.
Mike Maignan and Santiago Gimenez returned to full training on Friday and will be at Conceicao’s disposal. The coach has once again opted to go with a three-man defence after it worked so well against Udinese.
Maignan remains in goal with Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic the three centre-backs. Alex Jimenez and Theo Hernandez are the wing-backs, while Tijjani Reijnders and Youssouf Fofana are in the double pivot.
Christian Pulisic, Luka Jovic and Rafael Leao are the front three, with the likes of Santiago Gimenez, Tammy Abraham, Joao Felix, Samuel Chukwueze, Warren Bondo and Riccardo Sottil among the options off the bench,

Om paper, seems the best formation with the full backs we have available and to deal with our lack of midfield cover. Let’s say I have hope but no expectations.
What a sh1tty linesman, there should never have been called an offiside and considering Leao was stopped from an open chance it seems to me Bellanova then should have been red carded.
If we‘d scored, the lineman might have been fired…
Then it really wouldn’t be of any use to us then.
It was an excellent interception imo
Didnt look clean to me and as the linesman already had flagged it as an offside nothing happened but I might be wrong I’ll need a new look at the clip.
How did we let Bella nova go and why did we not bring him back?
What an athlete he is
Long balls to Leao is what our tactical genius coach came up with after having the entire week off! Lol. This is shameful. Carnasecchi holds the ball for less than 3 secs but Maignan holds the ball for 30mins on his feet looking for long balls cos their tactical genius coach didn’t teach them to work the ball into the opponents half.
Also, Get Bondo in and remove Reijnders, he’s clearly not fit today.
Pulisic was the most invisible in the first half
Has leao suddenly become slow or is bellanova just too fast ?
I think both are true
Why is Jimenez more composure on the ball than Leao who’s slipping off or getting outmuscle half the time. Ending on the ground that much for a big guy like him
Very frustrating
Our coach is in shock
Just one good chance and they score , smh
Lookman is way way way better than Rafael Pippao Trapao…
Jerry Clowndinale fired Maldini for what ?
What a bunch of pathetic loosers , top to bottom at this club. Banter era has officially back. Thx Clowndinale…
