Official: AC Milan confirm Pioli has renewed his contract until 2025

AC Milan have officially announced that head coach Stefano Pioli has extended his contract with the club for another two years.

In a statement on the club’s official website, the Rossoneri have communicated that Pioli has put pen to paper on a contract until 30 June 2025, with his previous deal having been set to expire in June 2023.

Pioli joined Milan part way through the 2019-20 season after Marco Giampaolo was sacked and it has been a very positive journey since, one which led to the 2021-22 Scudetto win. Now, Milan and Pioli shall ‘continue to work on this ambitious project’ which ‘reflects the club’s history and values’.

The next game in store will be on Wednesday night at a sold out San Siro, with a win or a draw against Red Bull Salzburg enough to reach the Champions League knockout stages, which would be another important step in the virtuous cycle that Pioli has embarked on.
