AC Milan have confirmed that they have loaned midfielder Marco Brescianini to Serie B side Virtus Entella for the 2020-21 campaign.
The deal was officially announced via the club’s website and confirms the previous reports suggesting that Milan would send the Primavera captain out on loan to get some more experience of senior football.
The Rossoneri ended the 2019-20 season with a 3-0 win over Cagliari and in the last match, Stefano Pioli granted Brescianini his debut for the club.
The young midfielder came on the field in the 65th minute to replace Ismael Bennacer and looked very mature and calm for his age, despite not playing a minute of competitive football for the senior side up until that evening.
Now, he will have an opportunity to get valuable minutes in a senior side, one that have ambitions of reaching Serie A for the first time in their history despite a 13th-place finish last season.
