AC Milan have been drawn against Serie A rivals Napoli in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, today’s draw in Nyon confirmed.
Milan beat Spurs 1-0 over two legs in the last 16 of the competition to book a place in the final eight alongside domestic rivals Inter and Napoli plus holders Real Madrid and Benfica, Manchester City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals took place at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, with no restriction on who could face who. That meant there was the possibility of drawing a fellow Serie A side, and that is what ended up happening.
Milan and Napoli were the last two balls to be drawn and the Rossoneri will be at San Siro for the first leg, while the winner of the tie will face the winner of Inter vs. Benfica.
The first legs of the quarter-finals will be played Tuesday April 11 and Wednesday April 12, with the return fixtures taking place on Tuesday April 18 and Wednesday April 19.

Real Madrid vs. Chelsea
Benfica vs. Inter
Manchester City vs. Bayern Munich
Milan vs. Napoli
People will be negative but realistically this is the safest draw we could have got, European teams like Madrid, city and Bayern can easily surprise us while I think we are capable of beating Napoli on a good day. Having Madrid, city and Bayern on the other side of the bracket is quite the positive
Yeah italian team has moderate difficulty. The easiest might be benfica.
April 2nd Napoli in Serie A. 9-10 days later Champions league 1st leg. Week later 2nd leg. Very interesting couple of games with a lot on the line!

Have you not seen Benfica this season? Honestly there’s no such thing as easy draw this QF. At least we can be quite positive based on the ‘1st leg’ when we met Napoli in the league. Only lacking little luck on that match

We have nothing to loose, and we usually play well against Napoli, even when we loose.
My thoughts exactly. Napoli are the favorites for sure but Milan did dominate against them and only lost due to a stupid, gifted penalty.
When we.ayed Napoli early in the season we were actually quite.good. I hope they can repeat the performance. This is as safe a draw we can get that’s not named Benfica or Inter
Plus we can potentially make the finals as we’re on the weaker side of the bracket
I was hoping for either benfica, inter or napoli as our opposition so im quite confident that there is opportunities here to progress to next round.
The fact the if we win our quater final we will meet the winner of match 2 means we would meet either inter or benfica makes this pretty much my dream draw as this potential could lead the way to the final and there everything can happen. Unlikely that we win but even so then the club has great opportunity to earn some much needed cash.

I actually would’ve loved to knock Inter out first but Napoli will do. It’s definitely not going to be easy but this draw is a great opportunity for us to move forward in the competition.
Can someone tell me if we’ll be able to add Zlatan to the squad for the next round or if he’s ineligible.

Hey, it may be destiny. I’d much rather play these napoli in a two match game and if we go through to play benfica or inter in a two match game and play either madrid city or bayern in a one off game at a neutral ground.
It’s a very interesting draw because an Italian team has a very good chance of going to the finals and I truly hope milan can get there. These draws have made it possible. I truly believe we can get the better of napoli in the Champions League. NOW’S THE TIME BOYS
We can go through because we always play well against napoli. All we need to do is to avoid injuries and play like how we play against tottenham the 2nd leg, it’s possible to reach the finals. Napoli are the favorites but we will defend them. Serie a is serie a and champions league is another level
