AC Milan have officially announced the signing of experienced striker Samuele Longo for the Milan Futuro side.

On their official website, Milan have announced the signing of Longo, who was most recently playing for Ponferradina in Spain after having had experiences in various other countries.

The 32-year-old played for Treviso’s academy before moving to Inter, and from Milan’s rivals he went on loan to Espanyol, Hellas Verona, Rayo Vallencano, Cagliari, Frosinone, Girona, Tenerife, Huesca, Cremonese, Deportivo La Coruna and Venezia.

He finally got a permanent move in 2020 to Vicenza but was again loaned out to Modena. Longo has since played for Dordrecht, Lamia and then Ponferradina.

Longo represented Italy at U19 through to U21 level, scoring four times in 19 games for the latter age group. It was reported that he actually underwent his medical last month, but like some other signings for the Futuro there has been a delay in announcing.
