Official AC Milan unveil new home kit for the 2024-25 season – photos

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s home kit for the 2024-25 season has been officially unveiled today, in conjunction with the global sports company PUMA.

As a statement on the official website puts it, ‘nothing says football heritage like the red and black stripes of AC Milan, synonymous with success, passion, and style – from the turf to the streets since 1899’.

The ‘classic style’ of the new shirt features stripes of equal width, a plain back where the name and number printing will be (as league regulations require) and also a patch just below the neck commemorating 125 years of history of Milan.

A defining feature of this new kit is the inscription ‘Social Club Institution’ on the inner collar, symbolising the club’s steadfast dedication to social issues and underscoring AC Milan’s role as a social and cultural institution committed to fostering positive societal change, in line with its values.

Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan: “AC Milan’s new Home kit is a testament to our rich heritage and the enduring legacy of Milanismo, which is able to bring together over 500 million fans across the globe.

“This jersey truly embodies the spirit of passion, dedication, and innovation that defines our Club. We are proud to unveil this special kit, which symbolises our commitment not only to football excellence but also to our role as a social and cultural institution.”

Marco Mueller, PUMA’s Senior Director of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel: “AC Milan is more than a club – it’s a symbol of performance at the highest level which we want to combine with performance innovation, design, and technology.

“With classic colours and a visual representation of the human genome, it celebrates how love for AC Milan has been passed on through generations, Made with Milanismo, from Milan to the world.

“For the first time from the start of the 2024-25 season our Club Replica jerseys are made using the RE:FIBRE initiative, this will feature 35 clubs and more than three million garments made from RE:FIBRE creating a more circular and sustainable way of producing football jerseys.”

The RE:FIBRE process focuses on textile waste as the primary source of material to create new textiles. The recycled material can be used for recycling again and again without losing quality – making RE:FIBRE a more long-term solution for recycling polyester textile waste.

The authentic jersey is what the players will wear and is made with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which reduces weight and friction. The goalkeeper shirt has also been revealed, and as the leaks suggested it is black with a wavy design on it.

The kit will make its debut on the pitch during the final home match of the season at the San Siro against Salernitana and will also be worn by the men’s first team during their friendly game against AS Roma in Perth, Australia, on the 31 May.

The 2024-25 AC Milan home kit will be available from 23 May in all AC Milan Official Stores, on store.acmilan.com, at PUMA stores, on PUMA.com and at select retailers globally.

  1. I really like the shirt – except for a bit of white patch in the sides. Feels so unnecessary and out of place.

Otherwise it’s good that the stripes are back to the simple ones. 8/10

    1. Agree. Love it except the white panel on the side.
It either needs to be much smaller or not there at all.
Otherwise best home kit for several years.

  2. The front looks really good but the back looks really bad. At least without name and number.

If I can afford one I will definately get it.

    1. Check then quality at a local shop if you plan on purchasing online.

I bought last year’s away jersey and it’s constructed with garbage material.

Definitely the worst quality jersey I’ve ever purchased.

  3. Really like the new shirt, best one from Puma so far, but let’s get #NoFonseda out there , we deserve so much better than a Pioli’s downgrade

    1. Must say he had a pretty horrible Roma team to coach. 😖

He got them to 5th in 19/20. That’s pretty good. He hasn’t had a top team yet so we don’t really know how he will perform.

His average points per game has been around 1.76. Pioli is at 1.89 in Milan right now. Pioli had a best of 1.67 before coming to Milan. And that was with Inter and Lazio.

Of course everyone wanted Pioli out as soon as he came. But he proved to be a pretty good coach for us eventually.

So I wouldn’t say Fonseca is that much worse than Pioli with his results given which teams he’s had. If he’s the right voach to bring us into the future. I’m not the right man to say. But sometimes we must give the manegement the mandate to actually run the club. They are the proffessionals here, not us fans.

      1. I agree with you on some points, I’ve been following some of Fonseca s work, it’s pretty decent but no revolutionary, what I mean is that it feels more like bringing in a decent coach for decent performances for decent financial revenues, there is no risk taking or bringing in new ideas or playstyle , we live in an era where the game evolves constantly, some coaches like Pioli , om which I agree he’s not that bad, but are not changing their style of play from a game to another making them so unpredictable, lookat our games against inter, six games all the same … I don’t think it’s going to be different with Fonseca

      2. Well said. Personally, I think it’s change for change’s sake and I’d rather let Pioli manage another season, but if the board are set on Fonseca I certainly won’t write him off before he arrives. Experienced guy, speaks a lot of languages, has done decent with his last few jobs.

  4. Im not a designer but ive worked as an artist painter and got invites to exhibit my works around my country and i seriously cant understand these clowns nowadays designing our shirts, Front looks ok but come on the back looks like sh1t.

  5. I hope Puma greatly improved the quality of the material and construction.

If they haven’t it’s literally made from garbage.

    Buyer beware.
