Massimiliano Allegri has named his starting XI for Milan-Juventus and compared to the win last time out, he has made one change.
Milan and Juventus are both keen on cementing themselves in the top four spot, and tonight, a lot is at stake in that sense. With just three points separating the two sides, the gap could either be widened, maintained or wiped out.

The fact that the reverse fixture ended scoreless also means that H2H advantage is up for grabs today, which is very important as that comes before goal difference. Naturally, the managers must have been feeling some pressure with their selections.
AC Milan vs. Juventus: Official starting XIs
Despite initial reports suggesting that Pervis Estupinan would get the nod, Massimiliano Allegri has only made one change in the end, bringing in Alexis Saelemaekers for Zachary Athakame. Davide Bartesaghi reportedly felt much better today after struggling physically, hence why he’s starting.
Other than that, there are no surprises as Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao are starting up front once again. Matteo Gabbia is also keeping his spot at the centre of the defence, seeing as his return has helped bring back some stability.
As for Juventus, Yildiz isn’t fit enough to play from start and Jeremie Boga has thus been given the chance. The former Milan players Pierre Kalulu and Manuel Locatelli are also starting.
Official Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Pulisic, Leao.
Bench: Pittarella, Terracciano; Athekame, De Winter, Estupiñan, Odogu; Jashari, Loftus-Cheek, Ricci; Füllkrug, Gimenez, Nkunku

Another weekend, another Allegri boring ball.
We should be calling Marco Silva or any better coach at end of this season pls.
Pulisic leao Combinator again?
Has been stellar so why not? 🤣
You know the old saying “20th time’s the charm”? Match after match the odds for them to play a decent match rises. The lightning never strikes the same place twice, right? 🙄
I’ll admit I only got into the first half after 20 minutes but even if you said it in jest I would like to hear who was stellar 😀 drag of a first half
Lucky Charms – They are Magically Delicious just as AC Milan and their approach towards winning.
Stellar? Maybe a couple of visitors? 😂
Indeed. Allegri’s “avoid defeat at all costs” tactic is really depressing to watch.
Leao what’s going on?
I haven’t seen him complete a dribble in ages.
We all know he’s much better than this.

Is he? Or was he?
It’s interesting how there are so few comments. Recently I’ve missed a few games, which is very out of character.
But honestly, the truth is nobody, not even die hard fans like myself want to watch this utter sh1t.
What a difference when you watch the good teams in Europe.
This Milan is a shambles, careless owners, incompetent management, dinosaur coach and useless players.
I really do not want to see us playing in CL next season, we have no business there and will only further tarnish the reputation of this once great club.
With little money we had a hugely exciting project before redturd came in. We were back.
How sad
Watching Allegri football is straight up exhausting, makes you angry. Anti football, next season we will have 6-7 30+ year olds in the starting lineup, we gonna build a spine of retirees and when time comes to replace them we will end up in another banter era. Hope it doesn’t happen but we are heading the same direction with Allegri.
“Watching Allegri football is straight up exhausting, makes you angry. Anti football,”
Nothing to add. All that needs to be said really.
What’s there to comment. Same ugly football week in week out. The game on the field reflects the way the management runs the club.
