AC Milan have announced another preseason friendly, this time one that takes them to the Republic of Ireland to face Leeds United.
It has already been confirmed that Milan are going on an Asia-Pacific Tour this summer, which also includes fixtures against Premier League sides Arsenal in Singapore and Liverpool in Hong Kong, plus Perth Glory.
On the official website, Milan have now announced a summer friendly against Leeds United, newly promoted to the Premier League after winning the Championship.
The match will take place on Saturday, 9 August at 3:00 PM (local time) at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, a venue with over 50,000 seats located in the heart of the Irish capital.
The match was officially unveiled today at a media event at the Aviva Stadium, attended by AC Milan Brand Ambassador Daniele Massaro and Leeds United legend Gary Kelly, former Republic of Ireland full-back.
This fixture marks Milan’s first match in Ireland in five years. The Rossoneri last played there during the 2020/21 season, facing Shamrock Rovers in a UEFA Europa League qualifier.
Milan and Leeds United have met three times in the past, including in the 2000-01 UEFA Champions League group stage, and most memorably in the 1973 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup final in Thessaloniki.

They only organized this so they could talk to Firpo. He’s coming. Mark my words.
Hey, Milan management. NOBODY WANTS FIRPO. Even leeds fans don’t want him. You somehow haven’t learned from the disaster that was your Emerson signing and now want to do it again?!?!?! How have you not learned from your complete and utter failure this season?
Let me get this straight…. Dublin, Perth and Preliminary rounds of Coppa? LOL!!!
8th place means they don’t have to do preliminary coppa.
That was only if the came 9th or lower.
