AC Milan have announced a new partnership with the digital fan engagement platform Fanblock, bringing the fans closer to the team. 

AC Milan and Fanblock begin today a groundbreaking new partnership to bring the over 500 million Rossoneri fans in the world even closer to their beloved Club through a revolutionary digital fan engagement platform.

Built around a shared vision for innovation within sports communities, the AC Milan and Fanblock partnership gives fans a first-ever opportunity for virtual ownership of the Club’s home pitch and a unique way to follow the team on matchday and every day. This is Fanblock’s first venture in football, which shows AC Milan’s pioneering spirit and its ambition to pursue innovative and exciting ways to engage its global fanbase and get it closer to the Club.

With fans scattered in every corner of the globe, not everyone has the opportunity to watch AC Milan play inside the San Siro Stadium week in and week out. This is where Fanblock steps in. First, fans have the opportunity to purchase Fanblocks, which represent blocks of AC Milan’s meta pitch. Then fans earn block points for real-time match events that happen on their own Fanblock, which presents an exciting new way to follow the Rossoneri’s matches.

Finally, fans are rewarded for engaging on the platform through various activities. They are also encouraged to invite their friends, challenge other AC Milan fans and in turn increase their fan ranking and leaderboard progress.

    Thats 1 in every 14 people I see are Milan fans?
    At a very low active consumer rate of just 5% of the base spending $5 each, that’s 250m in revenue each year….😯
