Massimiliano Allegri has named his starting team for the Pisa game, and AC Milan are still missing a few key players.
Since the international break, there has not been a lot of good news for Milan to contend with. So, they are still in the process of putting together a team, whilst also dealing with the heap of injuries at the club.

Adrien Rabiot, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Pervis Estupinan still remain in the stands, alongside summer signing Ardon Jashari. In other words, Allegri’s team is almost being picked for him still.

However, the Italian can still fall back on the regular names, or at least most of them. Mike Maignan will remain in goal, whilst Strahinja Pavlovic and Matteo Gabbia keep their places in the back line. However, Koni De Winter returns to the starting XI to face one of his former managers.
Ahead of them, Alexis Saelemaekers returns to the right, and he will be joined on the opposing flank by Davide Bartesaghi. In the middle, Luka Modric will be supported by Samuele Ricci and Youssouf Fofana, an unchanged trio.
Rafael Leao remains in a central role up top, and with Christopher Nkunku coming back into the squad, Santiago Gimenez is given the license to start here.

Hopefully we will be able to get a convincing victory, winning with some margin. It would also be nice if Sala gets a decent amount of minutes which certainly isn’t completely out of the question considering our bench.
Yeah fingers crossed, be nice to see a good performance, it’s a strong enough lineup.
Perhaps Modric can get some rest before Atalanta.

I agree the starting XI certainly is strong enough to get a win but damn the bench is depleted. Absolutely Modric shouldn’t play the entire game as we will already play Atalanta on Tuesday.
Probably also an option and it could be interesting to see that formation if we have a good lead.

This is not allegri ball, this was crap players on the pitch, except modric, and Saelemaekers. Everyone else was definitely crap. I was not convinced by leao scoring last game. He will NEVER EVER be a champion nor would he ever become a star. People wanted ricci over fofana. Both are crap if we me honest. Not convinced by him at all. He gives the impession that he is weak and feeble. Allegri has no excuse here. Up 1 nil at home, lost the lead and then when you were pushing for a win.
Milan stopped playing after scoring and now are tied. Should have kept pressing and score more goals.

The Spezia game all over again. Also, Maignan had all day to come out and try to block the ball at Nzola’s feet. Maignan is absolute trash when it comes to high balls.

Superficiality in such matches with “small” teams is an old and serious disease at this club that no one has managed to cure so far. In such matches our players enter the field with an absolutely disgusting arrogance, lightness and superficiality believing that the match is won in advance, totally underestimating the opposing team. A totally unprofessional attitude and is the main explanation why Milan has not been a big team for a long time. You cannot win trophies with such a mentality. Pisa was a very weak team but that played its chance with ambition and took advantage of the inexcusable attitude of our players with a mediocre attitude.
Well said. A weak mentality on Milan side and Leao is the worst. He will never become be a star. He’s contented with mediocrity. Most of these players are arrogant. Football is won on the pitch not on paper. The Management needs to add more depth. I don’t know why Allegri insist on having a small squad. We are just 3 players picking up injuries from a disaster and that is what is happening right now.
