Stefano Pioli has named his XI for tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Roma underneath the floodlights at San Siro. There are no surprises, with the manager making zero changes compared to last time out.
Amid the many absences, nine in total, Popoli has decided to opt for consistency. It’s certainly understandable given how well the Rossoneri did against Salernitana, even if the final scoreline was 2-1.
Charles De Ketelaere was in the running for a spot but in the last few days, every outlet suggested Brahim Diaz was ahead and this has turned out to be true. Surely, though, we will see the Belgian off the bench.
Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
Bench: Mirante, Nava, Adli, Bakayoko, Dest, Lazetic, Thiaw, Pobega, Vranckx, Gabbia, De Ketelaere, Bozzolan.

Official Roma XI (3-4-2-1): Patricio; Mancini, Smalling, Ibanez; Celik, Cristante, Pellegrini, Zalewski; Dybala, Zaniolo; Abraham.
Bench: Boer, Svilar; Kumbulla, Spinazzola, Viña; Bove, Camara, Matić, Tahirović, Volpato; Belotti, Majchrzak, El Shaarawy, Shomurodov, Solbakken.
Hopefully they have another good start because our bench options are almost non existent.
Vranckx and CDK are the only real option to change the game.
Great to see Bozzolan in the squad again, hopefully he gets some minutes soon and can be the answer to our LB back up problems
We absolutely need a real number 10, Diaz or CDK, wtf.
Leao will score at least 2 goals playing against Zeki Celik and Mancini.
Big game incoming from Brahim as well
It’s amazing how we’re basically playing our first choice starting 11 minus Mike, but have like 0 bench. Such a contrast. Any further injuries to this starting 11 would be devastating.
