OFFICIAL: AC Milan sign Çalhanoğlu on a four-year deal

By Isak Möller -

After having completed both parts of his AC Milan medical, Hakan Calhanoglu finally got to sign his contract with the Rossoneri, which the club announced on their website just moments ago.

The Turk has signed a four-year deal with AC Milan, keeping him at the club until 2021. Milan will reportedly pay €25m including bonuses to Bayer Leverkusen.

AC Milan released a statement on their website confirming the transfer.

“AC Milan announce the signing of Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The player has penned a four-year contract through to 2021.”

Hakan Calhanoglu’s great free-kick technique is what most people associate him with, even though he’s a fantastic playmaker as well. Last season, in which he only played the first half due to a suspension, he managed to find the back of the net seven times, while assisting seven as well. At Milan, he’s expected to be used as a winger.
