AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has not made a single change to the starting line-up for the game against Spurs compared to the side that beat Torino on Friday.
Milan will start with Ciprian Tatarusanu in goal protected by a three-man defence formed by Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Simon Kjaer, with Fikayo Tomori missing out after failing a late fitness test.
Alexis Saelemaekers will be the right wing-back over captain Davide Calabria with Theo Hernandez on the opposite flank, while Sandro Tonali is accompanied by Rade Krunic in midfield given Ismael Bennacer is still not 100%.
The attacking trident will consist of Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao playing slightly behind the centre-forward Olivier Giroud in what is down as a 3-4-2-1 system.

I remember the good old summer days when Adli was showing great promise and then we also got CDK. I really thought we won’t see Diaz playing for Milan again. What a nightmare this season has turned out to be.

Despite the above lineup implying Thiaw will be in the middle of the three it has to be Kjaer in the middle since he is the slowest, which means that Thiaw will be less effective in defending crosses from open play. I don’t know why, but I had hope for this game, but of all the things wrong with us this one last minute absence has crushed it.

We have the most injuries because Pioli did not adapt new players and give them time, but rather he has been playing almost the same XI since September.
