Official: AC Milan unveil new third kit for the 2024-25 season – photos

AC Milan and PUMA have officially unveiled the new third shirt for the 2024-25 season, one that ’embodies the spirit of Milanismo’.

The shirt was released on the official website this morning, and it is one that reflects Milan’s culture which ‘thrives on creativity and vibrant colours’, and adds ‘a whole new layer of meaning to the beautiful game’.

The rather unique shirt has a grey base colour with a fresh mint collar and sleeves, with grape mist details on the collar – including a monochromatic version of the club crest – to create something very different to what has been seen in recent years.

Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan: “This new Third kit developed by PUMA is a bold statement of what Milanismo stands for – innovation, elegance, and a deep connection to our city’s heritage.

“We are excited to see our players and fans alike embracing these colors, which represent a modern twist of our club’s identity. Partnering with PUMA allows us to continue pushing boundaries, not just in style, but in sustainability, as we aim to lead by example both on and off the pitch.”

Marco Mueller, PUMA’s Senior Director of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel: “The 24/25 Third Kit embodies the unique blend of tradition and innovation that defines AC Milan and connects with the Club’s youthful fanbase to create something new and unique.

“We aimed to create a jersey that stands out while staying true to the Club’s identity. This kit reflects the bold and sophisticated spirit of Milanismo and is designed to perform at the highest levels.”

Like the home and away shirt, the third shirt will be available in authentic and replica versions. The authentic jersey, worn by the players, is crafted with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, designed to reduce weight and friction, ensuring elite-level performance.

The replica version offers the same striking design with a more relaxed fit, perfect for both game days and everyday wear. Both versions incorporate PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology to keep fans and players dry and comfortable.

In addition to that, the replicas are made using the RE:FIBRE initiative, utilising recycled textile waste to create new materials without compromising quality. They contain at least 95% recycled textile waste and other used polyester materials.

The new 2024-25 AC Milan Third kit will make its debut on the pitch on 24 August, when AC Milan’s Men’s First Team takes on Parma at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.

  1. The design is clean and I like the simplicity. The dark grey, maybe better if its pure black.

Not a fan of green Milan badge though. 6/10.

  2. I don’t remember green or pink being traditional colors of the city of Milan. Must be the traditional colors of San Donato probably.

  3. Based on tactical flexibility I will like either Chaka Traore or musah to support pulisic as substitute from second half as an attacking midfield

    1. As a 3rd kit, I like it. This year’s home kit is again very red. So a plain dark colour for the 3rd kit is a good idea.
They’ve tried to do something that looks good on the street.
Last year’s 3rd kit seemed very popular sales wise. Even though it drew a lot of criticism.
My kids both loved it and I think they will like this.
