Stefano Pioli has made just one change to the starting XI for this morning’s clash between AC Milan and Barcelona. In other words, he has once again decided to rely on what should be the starters for next season.
Davide Calabria sustained a minor injury in the game against Juventus and will thus not play from the first minute this time out. Pioli has decided to replace him with the experienced Alessandro Florenzi, who was in a battle with Alexis Saelemaekers.
Other than that, though, it’s exactly the same XI as we saw in the game against the Bianconeri. After a loss and a draw, the Rossoneri will be looking to grab their first win in the final game of the USA pre-season tour.

Put aside their quality for a moment, we didn’t even need all three of RLC, Tijanni and Musah. Give me another player who brings something different. We’ve had a good mercato so far, but I personally wouldn’t have signed RLC.

What a shitshow, thoroughly outplayed by a B-C team of Barcelona. Three games, Three losses, sold one of our best players and bought mostly mediocre players and look no better, if anything worse than last season. Pioli and Redbird can go fuck themselves for destroying this team.

Well this is still preseason game. But I agree, Pioli can’t bring a good game playing for Milan players.
No fast counter attack. Too much passing around in the middle, when we have a chance to counter attack.
We have Leao, Pulisic, Theo, and even Reijnder can running, but too slow.
Why don’t Pioli see how middle team of Premier League played. How fast, and effective their counter attack.
Hope we will not seeing this kind of play system in this season.
If we still like this, I agree that management must change Pioli with another coach who can change medioker team become a good team, such as De Zerbi with Brighton.
