Official: AC Milan vs. Spezia starting XIs – four changes from Salzburg win

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has opted to make some changes to his starting XI for the game against Spezia compared to the side that beat Red Bull Salzburg in midweek.

Ciprian Tatarusanu will start in goal with Pierre Kalulu at right-back, Matteo Gabbia and Fikayo Tomori as the centre-backs and Theo Hernandez at left-back.

Sandro Tonali has been rested but Ismael Bennacer keeps his place in the double pivot alongside Rade Krunic, with Junior Messias and Rafael Leao on the right and left wing respectively.

Brahim Diaz has got the nod to start in the role of playmaker with Olivier Giroud dropped to the bench after amassing two goals and two assists in midweek against Red Bull Salzburg as Divock Origi gets another chance.
