Official: AC Milan will travel to United Arab Emirates during World Cup break

After the speculation in recent weeks, AC Milan have finally confirmed that they will be travelling to the United Arab Emirates during the World Cup break.

A statement on the official website confirms that Stefano Pioli and the remaining members of the first-team squad will be in Dubai from 11 to 20 December for a warm-weather training camp and they will also play some friendly matches too to stay in rhythm ahead of the second part of the season. More details about the friendlies will follow later.

In addition to the training and friendlies, the Rossoneri will hold events and will engage in commercial initiatives with its local partners, such as Emirates, SIRO (Official Hotel Partner), Jeeny (Official Regional Partner) and the EXPO 2020 Dubai.

This will be AC Milan’s fourth official visit to Dubai in 2022, which ‘underlines the commitment of the club to the whole Middle Eastern region and to the United Arab Emirates in particular’ where Milan have over 2.5 million passionate fans.
