Massimiliano Allegri has been fined €10k for the insults he hurled at Antonio Conte’s staff member Gabriele Oriali during the Napoli-Milan clash.
Milan were defeated 2-0 in the game against Napoli on Thursday evening, following what was a rather lacklustre performance with fatal individual mistakes. Allegri wasn’t too pleased with his team and made that clear in the dressing room, according to reports.

It wasn’t just the players that Allegri took out his frustration on. As we highlighted yesterday, Allegri also found himself in heated conversations with Conte’s staff member Oriali, hurling insults at the 73-year-old.
This behaviour infuriated Napoli, who felt the manager was out of control, and the Sporting Judge has now taken action. As the press release states, Allegri has been fined €10k for his conduct, which was deemed highly inappropriate.
“Fine of €10k: Massimiliano Allegri (Milan) for having, during the second half, adopted a provocative attitude towards an opposing team official, to whom he also repeatedly addressed offensive remarks. The violation was detected by the federal prosecutor’s office,” it reads.
While the situation has upset Napoli a lot, it shouldn’t be forgotten that Antonio Conte isn’t exactly a calm manager himself. In fact, earlier this season, he was handed a suspension for abuse towards the Inter bench…
