OFFICIAL: Caldara joins AC Milan on a five-year deal

AC Milan have officially announced this signing of Mattia Caldara, who today arrived from the USA to complete his medical with the Rossoneri. 

The former Atalanta defender has signed a five-year contract with Milan, joining the club in a swap deal with Leonardo Bonucci. AC Milan released an official statement on their website, confirming the transfer.

Caldara is expected to earn €2.5m per year with the San Siro side, set to take up a key roll in defence alongside Alessio Romagnoli.

The player will be presented tomorrow along with Gonzalo Higuain at 14:00 CET at Casa Milan.
