Official: Dates and times for Milan’s UCL quarter-final with Napoli confirmed

By Oliver Fisher -

The dates and times for the two legs of AC Milan’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Napoli have now been confirmed.

Today’s draw in Nyon confirmed that the Rossoneri will play Napoli in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. After knocking out Tottenham in the Round of 16, Stefano Pioli’s will now take on a side they know very well from domestic action.

The official website has confirmed that the first leg will be played at San Siro on 12 April at 21:00 CET, and the second leg at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona will be on 18 April at 21:00 CET. A possible semi-final matchup will see Milan or Napoli face the winner of Benfica vs. Inter.

This will be the first time Milan and Napoli will have faced each other in a European competition, and the Diavolo have only ever lost once against Italian opposition in nine European fixtures (0-2 v Parma in the second leg of the European Supercup Final in 1993), keeping a clean sheet on six occasions.

  1. Wow, Milan’s path to final looks easier than other team (with all due respect to napoli, inter and benfica). We are lucky. But are we lucky enough? Last season scudetto, luck was also played a big part. Question is, are we lucky enough in UCL? No one believed that Milan was capable on fighting for scudetto last season. But, dream is free of charge.

  2. Milan can be trusted with their resolute defense to go all the way, but our attackers are so poor including Rafael Leao who always shoot into the stands.. they need to improve on converting chances because milan is the team with the most chances wasted in Europe this season… forever Milan
