Empoli have confirmed that two AC Milan loanees have left the club, with Devis Vasquez and Lorenzo Colombo returning to their parent club.
Vasquez arrived from Club Guarani in South America as an unknown quantity and he remained a bit of a mystery given his lack of playing time. The Colombian was sent to Empoli on loan after previous spells away from San Siro and they had an option to buy.

Another player sent to Empoli on loan with an option to buy ahead of the 2024-25 season was Colombo, while Milan also added a buy-back this time to maintain control over the young striker. He registered seven goals and two assists.
On their social media, Empoli have confirmed that both the goalkeeper and the forward have left the club, thanking them for their service.
It was perhaps to be expected, given that the Tuscan side suffered relegation to Serie B, complicating any plans to keep hold of loanees from top flight sides.
